Llangyfelach Community Council originally declared that it had the General Power of Competence (GPoC) on 14 November 2024.
The eligibility requirements set out within the Local Government & Elections (Wales) Act 2021 for a Council to declare itself having the General Power of Competence (GPoC) have to be re-considered annually at the Annual Meeting of Council.
Llangyfelach Community Council recently re-declared GPoC at the Annual Meeting of Council on 12 May 2026.Further information regarding GPoC can be read within the report produced for the Council Meeting.
